Leadership Certificate – Registration

Spring 2025 Leadership Certificate Series registration will open on January 6th, 2025. Spring 2025 registration closes on Sunday, February 2nd at 11:59 PM. 

Spring 2025 Offerings: Discovery Leadership (Tuesdays from 11:00 AM - 12:00 pm), Student Challenge  (Thursdays 9:30am-10:30am), and Impact Delta (Thursdays 11:00am-12:00pm)

Each workshop runs for 9 weeks, starting Tuesday, February 4th through April 10th, 2025. Attendance each week is required for successful completion of the workshop and receipt of the certificate.

Discovery Leadership is designed for students at the beginning of their leadership journey who are interested in exploring and developing their leadership potential. The program will develop students' leadership competencies through self-reflection, experiential learning, exploration of team dynamics, communication, and cultural competence.

Student Challenge will introduce participants to the five exemplary leadership practices (identified by Kouzes and Posner). Participants will develop their leadership skills by learning how to Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart. The program will develop participants’ leadership competencies in these five areas through self-reflection, peer discussion, application of theory to current practice, and the ability to project approaches to future leadership opportunities.

Impact Delta will introduce participants to the Social Change Model of Leadership and the "Seven C’s of Change". The program will develop participants’ leadership and cultural competencies through self-identity and social identity activities, experiential learning, capstone presentations, self-reflection, cross-cultural dialogue, and community commitment.

The program explores the Social Change Model of Leadership and the Seven C’s of Change while students develop competencies through self-identity and social identity activities, experiential learning, capstone presentations, self-reflection, cross-cultural dialogue, and community commitment.

Participants in the Student Leadership Challenge will develop their leadership skills by learning how to Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart.
