The First-Gen Art Contest is a new traditional event to celebrate our first-generation students at UCONN Stamford. Participants will have the opportunity to create a piece of artwork that symbolizes what being a first-generation student means to them and celebrate all our first-gen students on campus. The winner will have their artwork printed on a 8ft x 8ft vinyl photo back-drop that will be prominently displayed on-campus during first-gen week in November. Students will have the opportunity to take photos with your artwork to be shared on social media.
While only the winner will have their artwork printed for a photo backdrop, we will celebrate all submissions through displaying them on this webpage. Submissions will be added as they submitted until artwork submissions close on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024.
