Homecoming Week – Sticker Design Contest

Homecoming Sticker Design Contest is a new traditional event that takes place each year during Homecoming Week. This year, we’ve got a great combination of your favorite traditional events, combined with some great new ways to show your husky spirit. The Sticker Design Contest originates from the banner display contest out of Storrs. Participants will have the opportunity to design a sticker to go on giveaways during Homecoming Week!

The winning student, or student group/org will have their stickers displayed on a selected object that will be given away during a Homecoming Week event. This year the winning sticker will be displayed on jars that will be given out during a candy bar on Wednesday, 10/1/25.

Sticker Design Guidelines

  1. Must be an active undergraduate student OR an RSO at UConn Stamford to participate
  2. Design must fit within one of the designated sizes for the sticker, see below for size options:
    • Circle - 4" diameter
    • Oval - 3" x 2"
    • Rectangle - 3" x 2"
    • Square - 3"
  3. Must submit by the aforementioned deadline
  4. Design must incorporate the theme for Homecoming Week. This year's theme is Husky Pride: Picture This. Think yearbook style photo editing.
  5. Design cannot contain the following: UCONN Logo or Mascot
  6. Submissions must be uploaded as a clear IMG or PNG file with 300 DPI to ensure quality print
 

Sensitivity Clause

When submitting a design, student(s) takes responsibility for all actions of the group or the individuals of said group while participating in the contest. Submissions should not be offensive to anyone. If any group entry is deemed offensive the artwork will be immediately disqualified from the contest. The Rules Committee will reserve the right to take further action against the group if deemed necessary.
